BMW: You say that 20 was your craziest year... Explain yourself.
Darius: I say this because 2007 was a year I will never forget. It was a year of firsts for me. 2007 was my first real long term realtionship, and throughout the relationship I experienced some of the most fun, sensual, enjoyable, loving times of my life, but at the same time I also experienced some of the most painful, frustrating, scary times of my life as well. I bought a house and the young woman "LH" I trusted as my friend to help me with the deal turned out to not be so much of a friend at all. I was cheated in the deal and "LH" and her friends all made off with a nice pay day and I was left holding the bag. It sucks but I learned a lot and I thank God for it all, because I feel 2007 overall has made me a much stronger, more capable man, and I have been prepared for the road ahead.

BMW: Wow... Tell us about your student life at the University of Michigan, Dearborn.
Darius: My student life at the UMD was great for a minute. I was the new hot guy on campus. I came in on both an academic and an atheletic scholarship. I was playing basketball, getting good grades but after a while, it turned out to be not as great as I had thought. I mean don't get me wrong its an excellent school it was just too much for me... not in terms of academics or atheletics. Dearborn is like a highschool. Everyone is in everyone else's business, there was a lot of shady characeters around my circles, and I was always the center of attention or the center of some scandal... lol. It was flattering but after a while it became too much, so I transferred. I am now a "Warrior" at Wayne State University, and in short, I love it.

BMW: What success have you had as a model?
Darius: I have made a lot of money... joking. But I have shot a few national campaigns. I was selected as the sexiest bachelor in Detroit in 2007, I've walked in a lot of shows for some really good designers, I've meet a lot of cool people, and memories to last a life time.

BMW: How has it been mixing modeling and college?
Darius: At times it has been very hard and even painful. On more than one occasion I have had to pass up huge opportunities that at the time seemed as though they were once in a lifetime opportunites. I have passed up going to Europe two or three times, a few tv shows, like the Tyra Banks show, some big bookings, a commerical or two but the one that hurt the most was when I was asked to do "Make Me a Supermodel 2" on Bravo. The casting director called me himself, but I couldn't because of school. But I look at it like this, if it's meant for me to have I'll have it. If not, I won't, so I just go with the flow.

BMW: What would you say is your greatest asset as a model?
I think my greatest physcial asset is the bone structure of my face but my greatest most valuable asset of them all is my personality and positive attitude.

BMW: This is your graduation year...
Darius: Nope... I wont be graduating until 2012. In the meantime I will continue to try and continue to better myself and be the best person and man I can possibly be.

BMW: Thank you for your time Darius... Have you found another girl to replace "LH"?
