BMW: TRUST and BELIEVE seem to be your favorite words...

Dominick: Well, I use that saying because I have so much trust and faith in God first, then myself, therefore I am destined for greatness. You need that type of attitude to keep your mind and body strong. Nothing could stand in your way. Trust and believe I will be on top in due time. ;)

BMW: You mention having an Indian background to you?... I hardly see that in you? Tell us about your background?

Dominick: I am black and indian, of course its up the family tree a lil bit as you can see. It sticks out as far as my high cheekbones and chinky eyes. I have the chinkiest eyes in my family, I could have sworn my dad didn't think I was his when I was little... lol. Everything else is black... lol.

BMW: Hmm... You love to travel as well... Have you ever thought of shooting in an active war-ravaged area down in Africa? We understand models like looking for the weirdest of locations to take shoots... Why is that?

Dominick: Na, don't know about that... lol. I like having my head... lol. Sounds like an interesting concept though... As far as modeling in weird and crazy scenes and areas, it stands out from the typical studio with a white back drop which is pretty boring. Me myself, I am a very outside-of-the-box type of person and I like to do different things that stand out from the typical things others do. I like to grab your attention.

BMW: Besides modeling, how is your acting career like? What else are you into?

Dominick: As far as acting, I have been chosen to play a role in a film called City Untouchable. I haven't done much in acting as of yet, and I told the director that, but it pretty much comes naturally. Its an action flick so when I added that I have a background in martial arts and could do my own stunts he picked me right up... lol. I became a major asset to the film. Other than that it's been pretty slow, due to the fact that Philly a secondary market it doesn't offer too much.

BMW: From what BMW saw on your profile, you come off as confident and very goal oriented... What have been the highlights of your achievements?

Dominick: I am very much goal oriented and it shines. I've been getting chosen for a good amount of castings, photo shoots, and interviews due to how I carry myself physically, mentally and I do so confidently. Slowly but surely everything is moving along but please believe my ultimate achievement will be when I am laying in my penthouse with my lamborghini in the front. ;)

BMW: What challenges have you come across in the modeling (especially as a black male model) industry and how have you overcome a couple of them?

Dominick: Well due to the fact that I am 5' 9", in this industry they like males to be 6 foot and up. The way I deal with that is tell the client that, "My outstanding talent overshadows any height requirements and you would be short taking yourself if you're not interested." I rarely have to do that because they are impressed with my look and confidence. Other than that I can actually say that I haven't really had any obstacles in my way or bad experiences far as modeling itself, but the challenge for me I would say is day to day life working the same part time job and pursuing my dream/vision of modeling and meeting the right people to see me and tell me to quit my job because they want to take my career to reach new heights! Speaking for other models of color, I know that due to the color of our skin, sometimes we don't get chosen for certain castings. Actually something like that has happened to me before... no hard feelings... Just keep pushing towards your goals until you are living them.

BMW: Give BMW readers a sneak peak into your future plans...

Dominick: I have just been chosen to do some work with a client out of northern New Jersey who gets his models work from New York. I will be modeling his clothing line, will be in a model auction, and hopefully a couple of magazines spreads. Far as acting I have a fight scene coming up in August 09 in the film City Untouchable I spoke of. The director of the film found me online and wanted to work with me so we took it from there. In the film it is a lot of sword, gun play, and fighting and they are pushing it to HBO so look forward to that.

BMW: K... the ladies would love to know... What's your record number of push-ups (lol... without lying)?

Dominick: Well ladies... lol. I lift more weights than do push ups right now but last time I checked, I maxed out at about 85 straight to be truthful. :)
