Kristina Remne

BMW: Kristina Remne, I noticed somewhere you're kenyan... Tell BMW readers about your background... Growing up... and how you landed up in Sweden?

Kristina: I grew up in the Eastlands, Nairobi where i went to primary school in Nairobi South B. High school was Kyuna Academy for about a year. Later on my mum and I came to Sweden to live with my step-father.

BMW: What's your daily routine like?

Kristina: I usually hang out with my friends... Most of the time I'm in Denmark which is 45 minutes away from Malmo. So whenever I get bored of stickin here I just cross over. ;)

BMW: Interesting... What's your favourite moment of all time in your modeling career and what part of modeling do you enjoy the most?

Kristina: Definitely my first photoshoot with Manni Bach. I was so excited and didn't really know how the whole thing would turn out. It went great! I had fun. The costumes and the make up I could say is the part I enjoy the most coz I like the creativity and of course giving out the message in the pictures to the people.

BMW: Take us through the challenges you've met along the way.

Kristina: Hmmnn.. There was the photoshoot with Vero-Verona Bikinis. I was so nervous coz I had never posed in a bikini in front of the camera before. I felt so naked but then I was already there so why not just do it!

BMW: Where do you picture Kristina in 10 years?

Kristina: Damn... 10 years seems so far right now but I could definitely say somewhere in Africa enjoying a cold mango juice with a good friend. Ha! Basically I would like to go back to Kenya and work and maybe open up my own model agency... give other black women the chance to show what they go for.

BMW: What words do you have for upcoming models in the fashion industry?

Kristina: Be yourself!

BMW: Models tend to have a strict diet. What does your diet like?

Kristina: Ha! There is no diet here... I eat whatever I think tastes good... cheese (ma fav), munchies... u name it. Like they say skinny healthy? ;) Yea that's me.

BMW: Describe Kristina in 3 words.

Kristina: Crazy sexy cool.
